Our vision statement...

"Quality, family doctor's surgery where Doctors, staff and patients work together to produce an efficient and first class service"

It is with profound sadness that we announce that our beloved partner, colleague, and friend

Dr Rekha Chilukuri

has sadly passed away on 28th September 2024.

Rekha started with us on 2nd January 2017 as a salaried GP and then went on to become a Partner on 1st August 2020.

Rekha was a great asset to the surgery and will be very sadly missed here by all of her partners, colleagues and by her patients.

Please bear in mind when speaking to our staff that they are grieving and still trying to process this sad news.

If you feel that you need bereavement support, please find services on this website: www.barnsley.gov.uk/services/births-deaths-and-marriages/deaths-and-funerals/bereavement-support-groups/

Dear Patients,

As from Monday 5th February 2024 our appointment system will change. Anyone who needs an URGENT on the day appointment will need to phone/come in between 8am and 10am.

Anyone who would like a pre-booked appointment that is non urgent can phone/come in from 10am onwards.

Please be advised that our care co-ordinators will ask for your problem and direct you to the best place for your problem. Due to demand you are not guaranteed an appointment by phoning between these times.

All patients will be asked why they are requesting an appointment, and this is to ensure that we are booking you in or signposting you to the correct person to help with your care.

If you do not feel that you want to discuss your problem at reception, please let the receptionist know and they can take you to a private room to discuss.

Many thanks

Huddersfield Road Partnership
